When an image is worthy one thousand words…

What in the world can make a Shia Muslim stands posing in a photo and shake the hand of a Sunni Muslim one?

The answer, not belonging to just one reason is as frightening as it may likes, but most probably, it responds to three related patterns:

1-. A shared hate against the EEUU in reprisal for its last century foreign policies on the Eastern Countries, concentrating on it all, the Occidental values that it represents :

The persisting sanctions that are empowering drastically the nearly emergent Iranian economy; its restrictions in nuclear matters; its lack of attention to Iranian diplomatic interventions attempts and all the last siecle events related to the North America foreign policies in the Middle East; all of them so opposed to Iranian politics and so numerous that would fulfill a list : Libyan invasion with Muamar " El Gadafi" deposition and humiliating assasination, the intervention in Kuwait in 2003 that degenerated in the war with Irak, so polemic as full of " irregularities" ...and ...

2-. The mutual defense of Palestinians, in opposition to the North-American policy of approachment and friendship to Israel and it's implicit consent about Palestinian apartheid's that last 75 years now and is also an open case for the International Criminal Court, by lending his supporting vote against any possible measure taken by the International Security Council to protect Palestine and by vetoing any decision of punishment to Israel for transgressing repeatedly, the International law concerning the ilegal occupation of the Palestinian lands and for the commission of war crimes with its Statal Nazi-Politics of ethnical cleansing.

3-. The shake for the money: another aspect that we cannot ignore because:

-For Iranians , Saudíes represent a great opportunity to confront the intrincated situation that American long- prolonged sanctions has caused in their economy

-For Saudíes, a traditional non-beligerant country, Iranians represent the strongest military power in the whole Middle East, and most probably, of the whole world, by possessing a huge and unknown capability of nuclear armament: the best ally under any possible threat in the area.

All those arguments can be the ones hidden behind this incredible photo: those so powerful to make these ancestral enemies in religious terms, allow us to witness two representatives of different branches of Islam that have on their backs centuries of incessant bloody battles, neverending revenges and unsolved political rivalries, share a public agreement.

The same reasons that would make a political Leader, like Assad, to be approached and confident to the leader of the neighboring country to the extent of betraying his own population; to turn against them with a permanent harassment, to the point of getting involved in a neverending civil war whose abhorrent images have shaken the whole world by the cruelty of the crimes perpetrated, the abandonment and desprotection of the population.

The same reason .

In other circumstances, we should be so glad of the miraculous testimony of this photo, but you must be alert.

And Americans should be worried, very, very worried.
