What lies behind

How easily and disappointedly we do forget from where all our current civilizations come from.

Byblos, the ancient Phoenician city, today included in Lebanon, whose name in Arabic is Jbeil, disputes with Ugarit, Siria, the honor of having created a system of written and spoken human communication called “ Alphabet “.

An “ invention “of the Phoenicians, later passed into the hands of the Greeks, Etruscans and Romans to our days.

The origin of our contemporary alphabet was discovered in Byblos with the most ancient Phoenician inscription carved on the sarcophagus of Ahiram.

The Phoenicians brought to the West not only the Alphabet , but the olive tree and the vine, the potter's wheel, and the iron forge among many other apportations; customs such as the cremation of the dead and other cultural innovations that transformed the indigenous peoples into the Iberian civilization.

But not only the Alphabet, the Phoenicians brought the commerce and the beginning of the international trade : they traded silk and linen fabrics, oil, wine, resin, perfumes and all kinds of luxury goods even though their main commercial activity was the trafficking of slaves, which were captured by the merchants themselves or bought in local markets: precursors and cradle of our current international trade system.

They were the great merchants of antiquity. The geography of its coasts, which favored the installation of ports, and the wood of its forests provided them with the basic elements to build ships and organize navigation companies.

The Phoenicians were one of the most important civilizations of antiquity and extended their legacy between 1,500 and 330 BC. They extended around a region formerly known as Canaan and comprising the current occupied Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.

Obviously and more over, not a Inter-trade system wouldn’t have survived if it hadn’t been relied on a logical basis: measurement systems and accountability methods stablished through the numeral systems that came from Egypt (VI B.C), China (II M years ago) and Elam in Mesopotamia (over III M ago). The Sumerians and Babylonians in Ancient Mesopotamia ( current Iran and Irak and Northern Siria) that used a sexagesimal system (base 60).

They created and it’s and is still used—in a modified form—for measuring time, angles, and geographic coordinates: this choice was not arbitrary but was likely influenced by the Sumerians' astronomical observations and their calendar, which was based on the lunar cycle. This system was not aleatory, but had the logic of allowing to divide weights and measures into thirds (1/3 ) that remains invariably in all our cultures as a system to measure, for example, the time.

All those that derived later on into the one that we have nowadays, but turned into a 100 based system .

As time was passing through, and developement brought wider and more complicated systems of trade at time that curiosity and need for knowledge became bigger , they created the Algebra: (from Arabic: الجبر al-ŷabr 'reintegration, recomposition' and data acquisitionis: the branch of mathematics that studies the combination of elements of abstract structures according to certain rules, allowing to express and give form not only to the most elevated scientific concepts, but to carry out budgets, billing, cost calculations, etc. Using algebra allows you to better understand complex and abstract concepts by simplifying their expression through numbers, letters and signs in which common arithmetic operations are generalized.

Muhammad Al-Khwarizmi or Al Juarismi, brought to life the seeds of this mathematical method that saw its first glimpse in the Ancient Greece.

Not necessary to say, reached this point, what are all those wonderful inventions currently used for.

As more development and more countries on the scene, more complicated became the weak and easily breakable balance among all international powers. Not in vain and no further from 30 years ago ( even though it has begun in The Hague 1969 with the “Werner inform”), Europe started a convergence economical process, as a result of a former ideological and philosophical one, with no other purpose, but , the principal goal of offering a commercial wall- front to the EEUU in all of what International trade is respected.

A product specialization by countries linked to a common currency system would allow to Europeans to save as much money as possible, due this autarchical system, at time as becoming the reference point and “best- selling” ones, by having all desirable products: cars from Germany and England, milk from Holland , chocolate from Switzerland and the best wine, cheese and vegetable products from the Mediterranean Lands, just to mention an example.

“ Nothing to buy while everything to sell” was the subyacent thinking, as the sacred maxima, let’s say to summarize, for the foundational fathers of the Economical European Union.

As a crack in the wall of the house of la an eternal contradiction, we do have another international structure belonging to all these strategical apparatus and net of institutional organisms: the N. A. T. O, that surprisingly includes the United States ( or much precisely the EEUU and GB decided to include us) , under the naïve pretext of sharing the Atlantic Ocean space. A fact, that in certain interested minds would imply automatically the need of creating a common defense against “ the enemy “.

The latest facts, with the war in Ukraine has showed clearly, for someone who wants to offer a wider scope, in terms of History and signification of the facts, how all European military organigram is completely at the EEUU disposal and just for their own sake and will.

To justify my argument, just let me recapitulate to the year 2000, remainding you all the scalation of conflicts, degenerated later on into the bloodiest wars in the Middle East, all of them, without exception, promoted and caused directly by the EEUU Government

1999-2020- The EEUU war in Afganistán

President Bush signs into law a joint resolution authorizing the use of force against those responsible for attacking the United States on September 11 ( look that it these attacks ocurred on 2001, before the war in Afganistán was started and none of the attackers were Afghan Nationals). Many Afghan Nationals were accused, threatened or even jailed for several years with Guantánamo Detention Center

(Guantánamo Bay, Cuba) and absolutely illegal detention center, on the other hand

In 07 October, 2001, The U.S. military, with British support, begun a bombing campaign against Taliban forces, officially launching Operation Enduring Freedom. Australia, Canada, France, and Germany pledging future support. it was a supossed an Alliance of “ legally defense strategy “ against Talibans that ended with the bombing of 11 times at civilians Hospitals in Kunduf ( resulting in, 42 innocent victims) all of it, of course, embarrassingly covered and in fully concomitance, by International organizations those like NATO and the Security Council.

No consequences for these war crimes, of course, even though an investigation was opened by the ICC for the “Atlantic Alliance “ .

It wasn’t till the American Government with Trump’s Presidency that they signed an agreement with the Talibans, up to our days.

2003 the EEUU Invasion of Irak.

The 1 May 2003 , another war, another that had begun: according to US President George W. Bush, the reasons for the invasion were "to disarm Iraq of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) - which were never found and whose existence was not proven." Another coalition of European NATO countries actively drawn into the war and led by the United States along with the United Kingdom, Australia and Poland. All those including Torrejon de Ardoz ( Madrid, Spain) from whose American Military Bases were possible many of the attacks under Aznar Right- Wing Presidency.

The only think that always remained as a fully evidence , was the number of civilians dead : 601,000 died directly from violence: 14%, 91,700, in suicide attacks; 57% by firearms , more than 373,000; and 20%, more than 137,000, in air strikes. The rest, 54,000, due to the precarious situation created by the occupation.

Of course, never forgetting that adding to this flagrant War Crimes, we have to add the obscene thievery committed by the American Troops with the Irak National Gold reserve.

2011 Libia Invasion: officially, On March 19, 2011, a multi-state coalition led by NATO began a military intervention in Libya to implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 (UNSCR 1973), in response to events during the First World War (???).

Let me remind you that the very same excuse was wielded with the former invasion of Libia the 15 Th May 1986 during the “Dorado Canyon” Mission.

The conflict lasted between February and October 2011 and ended with the assassination of the Libyan leader Muanmar Gaddafi and the victory of the rebels. The Objective of the operation, International, analysts assure, that the true objective of the Operation in Libya "was not to establish democracy but to take possession of its oil reserves, and to privatize the country's oil industry, transferring control and ownership of its oil wealth to foreign hands." 80 percent of Libya's oil reserves are located in the Eastern Gulf of Sirte basin, where foreign forces provided secret support to the rebels”

Again. NATO war crimes shaded with impunity again.

But if it all wasn’t enough, with all the facts related, we have entered, now in a more intricated situation as the conflict in Palestine- Lebanon is:.

Palestine with 76 years of ilegal Ocuppation and a year anniversary of a conflict today , which you would allow me to jump up now, into the next step, because it’s not directly related with the NATO debate mentioned here and Palestine deserves a full article itself.

The only thing I would remark it that a silenced Genocide is been committed in full concomitantance of the European Countries and the EEUU, against the popular will, breaking all the international legacy and morality, just for the well- being of the Israeli War Criminal Government and its indecent civilian citizens that refuse to leave a land that are not theirs, keep flaming with it, the spirit of the occupation.

As a result, we do have another conflict in Lebanon and a War Criminal disposed to extend its expansionist madness all over the Middle East, as long as the United States Government lack of scruples and so their National Budget may resist and permit.

I will enter directly into Ukraine , as that was my purpose, because, in fact, is the main inspiration for its final conclusion. More exactly, not Ukraine but Russia.

Since the unpopular invasion of Ukraine the 24 th February 2022, we all have agreed that a military occupation of another country’s territory is completely unacceptable for being unconstitutional, ilegal and apart from every rule of international law.

In the case of Ukraine, the NATO Organization, has the excuse of having Ukraine within the European Union so to intervene ? ….or it’s not?.

Ah, no sorry it was another kind of “ personal business “ that led the American Administration Government there.

Apparently, as I was saying, it was an arbitrary occupation just motivated by the hunger of imperialist expansionism and the last resource of a remnant nolstalgic feeling of having belonged of a greater empire. I confessed to have thought, exactly this, myself.

Later on, as events were developing , little by little, numerous details of military politics and geostrategy came to light to reveal that more than debatable actions from NATO members and their armed forces with respect to Russia, before and during the invasion: mostly provocations and threaning attitudes: misiles pointing directly to Russia from NATO countries, to be more accurate. Not necessary to say that this is not how diplomacy works.

All this facts added to the declarations of Vladimir Putin extracted through his numerous interviews , lead a clue to understand that the perverse mind of the American Government is once more, behind the wheel . Why?

-First, the sempiternal American foe and direct competitor , the former URSS, favorably and so fortunately for the EEUU interest, got dismembered due the Perestroika internal democratization process, that included the reestructuration of political institutions and the territory ( former omnipotent URSS became divided and just the actual Russia, stood)

Meanwhile, the NATO members were increased, progressively, since the “Washington Treaty “ with the result of a current macrostructure of 32 Countries, many of them , near Geographically to Russia.

It won’t be me the person who would justify any conflictitive attitude as I didn’t during the war in Siria, but I completely changed my mind concerning Russia, because of the facts related. I would never defend any provocative or threatening attitude with the intentionality of “making explode the opponent”, so to blame it, later on.

Again, and thanks to membership in NATO we have, as a common denominator of all the events reported, to have become the puppets of American interests or even worse : to have been completely unaware of being nothing more than a useful “ polichinela” of the American Government, failing with it to comply with our obligations with international laws and all moral norms or civilized ethical rules existing in any code of conduct either human or animal.

The inaction and complicity with the American Government, allowing the atrocities and siege exerted against the Palestinian population and their emergent State is nothing but a treason and the biggest irresponsibility committed by Europeans since they proposed the Palestinian Lands for the Jews coming from the Second World War:

A bad patch and no remedy: to split arbitrarily the ancestral and historically Palestinian lands under no moral nor legal basis, but the selfish interest from certain Governments to give a fast answer to another unsolved Genocide . A fact, that is imperative to resolve , if we don’t want to enter into the III war world.

Just a fact we should take for granted: not a peace deal would be ever at Palestinian blood or Well-being expenses. Trust me.
